Ride Description:

Fairly happy with this out and back effort. Where I normally cruise on Sunday following a Saturday effort I tried to spice it up a little more. I could feel the fatigue from riding yesterday, but felt okay with this ride. Of course I had to slow down in some of the congested areas and that brought down the average speed. Overall content considering being off the bike for the past week.

It was a pleasure to meet Steve at the 20 mile rest area where he told me about the FB group for the Silver Comet Trail / Chief Ladiga Trail. I have met a lot of fantastic people and cyclists on the Comet over the years.
