As one could guess the path was packed with people enjoying the warmer weather and that made it tougher to get up to speed and hold that pace. I was fine with it either way and on the way out held a half decent pace.On the way back I was with Rob and Doug. First time to meet these two and did not know their names until the end. It was fairly serious business until the end. We were able to keep a pretty good pace despite the amount of people on the trail. In fact had there been less I might not have been able to hang with these guys.
